This is the standard keg tap that comes with our mini keg packages. It is a "brumby" style keg tap (the most common style of metal tap around the world) and is made of chrome plated brass.

It is an attractive looking tap that is robustly constructed and will last a lifetime if it is well looked after.

We use these as our standard taps as they keep the cost of packages down, however, unlike our premium stainless steel keg taps, they do need to be maintained otherwise the tap mechanism can stick shut / inside can get dirty & affect beer. This is normal maintenance of beer taps however - we sell specialised Line Cleaner > and or Sanitiser > for this purpose.

Cleaning is not a major problem but for those who don't have time to take the taps apart and clean them every few weeks then our premium keg taps are a better option.

The tap comes by itself (without shank or MFL adapter) for direct connection to the standard steel spear shown above or to your existing beer tower / system. If you order a package with a double ball lock top, pictured below, the tap includes the Shank, MFL adapter and plastic ball lock disconnect required to connect it to the spear / ball lock top.
